Wellesley - Full Time Live Out Nanny - March/Early April Start

A Wellesley family is seeking a full time nanny to care for their 4.5 year, 3 year, and 7 month old children beginning in March or early April.

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm. Responsibilities include transportation for the older children to/from preschool and activities, engaging in activities at home or taking them on outings, maintaining kids’ schedules/routines, tidying up after play and meals, children’s meal prep, and children’s laundry. For the most part, the nanny will have just one or two of the children at a time (just the baby or just the two older children) while mom has the other child/children.

Ideal candidates have a true love and passion for the kids, are sensitive to their needs, and are adaptable and flexible. A college degree is required.

A valid driver’s license and car are required for this position. There is a family car available for nanny use during their shift.

Brookline - Part Time Nanny - Mid-June Start

A dual career family in Brookline is seeking a part time nanny to care for their curious and talkative 3 year old beginning in mid-June.

The base schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 5:30pm to 7:30pm with a regular need for help until 8 or 9pm depending on work schedules (known 1 month in advance). Responsibilities include daycare pickups, heating up and feeding dinner to the child, and bathtime and bedtime routines. Bilingual abilities in Spanish or Chinese are a plus!

Weston - Full Time Nanny - ASAP Start

A Weston family is seeking a full time live out nanny to care for their 7.5, 6, and 4 year old children beginning ASAP.

The schedule for this position is 12pm to 7:30pm on Monday, 12pm to 7pm on Tuesday and Thursday, 11am to 7:30pm on Wednesday, and 11am to 7pm on Friday. If the nanny would like a higher number of base hours, the family is able to add 1-2 later evenings for date nights. The family has a house manager and a housekeeper twice per week. Responsibilities include picking up the youngest child from preschool, dividing and conquering transportation and activities for all 3 children with mom, preparing healthy children’s meals/snacks, children’s laundry, ironing kids’ clothes, keeping their bedrooms and bathrooms tidy and clean, loading/unloading dishwasher, emptying the Diaper Genie/taking out the trash as needed, and errands/groceries.

The family is seeking a nanny who is detail oriented, patient, flexible, able to multi-task efficiently, and has good planning and organizational skills. Candidates should also be willing to go to New Jersey with the family for 3 long weekends per year in August (nanny would work Friday through Monday and have Tuesday through Thursday off).

Southborough - Part/Full Time Nanny - ASAP Start

A dual career family in Southborough is seeking a nanny to care for their 2 year old and expected newborn, beginning ASAP.

This position will guarantee 70 hours in a two week period, with any hours over 40 hours per week being optional and paid at time and a half (i.e. no banked hours). Schedule is comprised of 3-4 shifts per week, Monday-Friday, with start and end times between 6am and 8pm. Schedule is known at least 2 months in advance. Responsibilities include all aspects of childcare, light housework, children’s meal prep, children’s laundry, and transporting the children to and from activities.

Wayland - Full Time Nanny - ASAP Start

A family in Wayland is seeking a full time live out OR live in nanny to care for their 8 and 5 year old children beginning ASAP. The family has a pet bunny and pet parakeet.

The core schedule for this position is Monday and Friday from 7am to 6pm and Saturday from 7am to 4pm, plus one optional business day. Live in accommodations are a separate hallway in the family’s home with a bedroom, bathroom, and office for the nanny. Responsibilities include pick ups and drop offs, teaming up with mom for evening activities, being with the children on the weekends, cleaning up the children’s areas and the kitchen, organizing toys, light house tidying, loading/unloading the dishwasher, errands, grocery shopping, meal prep.

Newton - Part Time Nanny - ASAP Start

A dual career family in Newton is seeking for a part time, afterschool nanny to care for their 9 and 3.5 year old children beginning ASAP. Ideal candidates are energetic, loving, and patient.

The base schedule for this position is 3pm to 6pm Monday through Friday, but there is the opportunity for more hours via household management tasks and cooking if the nanny possesses strong skills in those areas. Needham - Nanny/Mother's Helper - ASAP Start

A family in Needham is seeking a part time nanny for a mother’s helper role in caring for the family’s 2.5 year old son and newborn. The toddler is friendly, social, and easygoing and enjoys spending time with the nanny because he views that time as playdates!

The schedule for this position is 3-4 evenings per week scheduled between Monday and Thursday beginning between 4:30 and 5:30pm and ending between 8 and 9pm. This position is a mother’s helper role to aid in the evening routine for the toddler and newborn. Other responsibilities for this position include family laundry, basic dinner prep, tidying up after dinner, spending time with the newborn while mom spends time with the toddler, and helping with the toddler’s bath/bedtime routine if necessary.

Candidates for this position must be open to flu/pertussis vaccines if they have not already been vaccinated. The family is seeking someone who is caring, patient, friendly, engaging with children, and experienced with newborns. As the role is a mixture of household responsibilities and childcare duties, the family is seeking someone with a great attention to detail and who is proactive.

There are no driving responsibilities for this position, but a valid driver’s license and car are required to arrive at the family’s home.

Wayland - Full Time Live Out OR Live In Nanny - March Start (flexible)

A kind family located in Wayland is seeking a full time nanny, either live out or live in, to care for their preschooler and infant beginning in March. The family has two pet cats that do not require any care, but candidates must be comfortable with them being in the home.

The schedule for this position is 55-60 hours per week scheduled between the hours of 7am and 7pm Monday through Friday as well as occasional overnights with advance notice. The family has biweekly house cleaners. Responsibilities for this position include all aspects of care for both children, transportation to/from school, activity planning, and children’s laundry and meal prep. There are optional responsibilities available such as coordinating with contractors for home maintenance.

There is a private bedroom with a full bathroom available for a live in arrangement. The nanny should be safety conscious and energetic, have prior experience with infants and preschoolers, and able to manage the needs of children at different ages and stages of development.

Brookline - Full Time Nanny - March Start

A mom in Brookline who is new to the area is seeking a full time live out nanny to care for her 16 year old daughter and 11 year old son beginning in March. This role is predominantly with the 11 year old.

The ideal schedule for this position is Tuesday through Friday from 12pm to 7pm and Saturdays from 9am to 4pm, but mom is also open to a Monday through Friday schedule of 12pm to 7pm if the nanny will consider 1 or 2 weekend days per month. The nanny should also be able to stay overnight when mom travels for work (usually every 2-3 months for up to 1+ week). Responsibilities for this position will primarily focus on the 11 year old, including transporting him to and from activities, planning outings, and overseeing homework. Other responsibilities include family errands, grocery shopping, menu planning and meal prep, and household laundry (including ironing). Ideally, mom would like full housekeeping, but this is negotiable.

Mom is seeking a nanny who is reliable, able to take on the responsibilities of the home, and can be a positive presence for the kids.

A valid driver’s license is required for this position. The family lives on the T (Brookline Hills stop, Green D branch), so a car is not required to arrive at the family’s home, however parking is available. There is a family car available for nanny use during their shift.

Dover - Part Time Live Out Nanny - ASAP Start

A family in Dover is seeking a part time live out nanny to care for their 7 year old, 5 year old twins, and 2 year old starting ASAP. The ideal candidate is proactive, good with time management, and is comfortable with dogs. The family has a small pet dog.

The ideal schedule for this position is 1:30pm-7pm Monday through Friday.  The family has a weekly house cleaner. Responsibilities include dividing and conquering responsibilities with mom such as school pickups, transporting the children to activities, children’s laundry, assisting with dinner and bath time, changing sheets, and tidying.

The nanny should be bilingual in Spanish/English as well as loyal, patient, trustworthy, and have lots of fun with the family’s sweet, kind, and happy children.

A valid driver’s license is required. A car is required to get to the family’s home, but once at the home, a family car is available for use. All candidates must be bilingual in Spanish and English.

Boston

Boston (Bay Village) - Full Time Nanny - Mid-April Start

A mom in the Bay Village neighborhood of Boston is seeking a full time nanny to care for her 3 month old beginning in mid-April.

Mom works a variable schedule (nanny will be guaranteed 40 hours per week) which is known 2 months in advance. The nanny will work every Wednesday (6:45am – 4:45pm). There will be 3 other shifts on any day of the week (these shifts typically are 1pm – 1am, 5:45am – 4:45pm, 1/1:30pm – 3:30/4am, or overnight). Shifts will rarely be scheduled on Tuesday. There is usually 0-1 overnight per month, 2 weekend shifts per month, and 2 shifts of 1/1:30pm – 4am per month.

Responsibilities for this position are very child-focused and include all aspects of infant care, activity planning, bottle cleaning, picking up after the baby, and occasional baby laundry. Ideal candidates should be willing to keep the full week open for scheduling and have the ability to work very late nights twice per month and weekend shifts twice per month (with plenty of advanced notice). Mom is seeking a nanny who is communicative, reliable, and experienced with infants.

The family’s home is located on the T (Red, Green, and Orange lines) and there is no parking available. A driver’s license is NOT required.

Salary: $20-25/hr + T pass + Uber for early start/late end time/parking reimbursement if nanny chooses to drive

Boston - Full Time Nanny - ASAP Start

A dual career family in Boston is seeking a full time live out nanny beginning ASAP. Though the family has a 3-child household, care is primarily for the family’s 4 year old.

This schedule for this position is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 12pm-7pm and Wednesday from 2:50pm-7pm. The family has twice weekly house cleaners and a weekly chef. Responsibilities include picking the 4 year old up from school, transportation to swim lessons and a club once per week, arranging and overseeing playdates, outings to parks, arriving home on time for dinner, and preparing for bedtime. There are optional hours available for packing kids’ lunches, a weekly grocery run, and/or adding two mornings to bring the 4 year old to school.

Candidates should be empathetic, desire to build a relationship with trust, be respectful of the family’s privacy, be nurturing, and enjoy being outside. Candidates should also be seeking a long term commitment, ideally be open to travel, and willing to update their CPR certification.

A driver’s license is preferred but flexible. A car is not required and there is only occasionally parking available at the family’s home. There is a family car available for nanny use during her shift.

Boston (South Boston) - Part Time Nanny - March/April Start

A South Boston family is seeking a part time nanny to care for their 1.5 year old son beginning in March or April. The family has a pet English bulldog for which no care is required.

The schedule for this position is 25 hours between T/W/Th between 6:30am and 7pm with shifts typically of 6:30am to 5:30pm or 11am to 7pm. The schedule will be known two months in advance. One day can be swapped to Monday for the ideal candidate.

The family has a weekly cleaning service. Responsibilities for this position include all aspects of care for the family’s son, planning activities/outings, reading to him, taking him to playdates, children’s laundry and meal prep, and keeping his nursery and playspaces tidy. The family is willing to commit to 30 hours (in 3-4 days) if a candidate is open to family laundry, family dishes, light cleaning, and/or errands.

Ideal candidates are experienced with toddlers, engaging, communicative and open with parents, and are seeking a partnership. Spanish speaking abilities are plus!

A driver’s license and car are NOT required. There is no parking at the family’s home.

Boston (Jamaica Plain) - Full Time Nanny - July Start

A dual career family located in the Jamaica Plain area of Boston is seeking a nanny to care for their expected newborn beginning in early July. This role also encompasses household management and housekeeping duties. The family has a pet Springer Spaniel.

This position may either be live in or live out. Live in accommodations include a bedroom, bathroom, and living room with a separate entrance at the grandparents’ home that is just 5 minutes away from the family’s home.

The schedule for this position is 8am to 6pm Monday through Friday. Responsibilities for this position include all aspects of infant care as well as the household management and housekeeping tasks that include cleaning, laundry, family errands, grocery shopping, organization, and light meal prep. Optionally, the dog may be walked, but the dog can also spend the day at the grandparents’ home.

The family is seeking a nanny who has a “can do” attitude, takes initiative, and is independent and able to operate with little to no direction. Flexibility is important in this role, so candidates should be willing to pitch in to get whatever is needed done. Nanny should be seeking a long-term commitment.

A valid driver’s license is required for this position. A car is preferred.

Boston (South End) - Full Time Live Out Nanny - By Mid-May Start

A family in Boston’s South End is seeking a nanny to care for their 8 year old, 5.5 year old, and newborn beginning by mid-May. Both of the older children are in school full days, so the nanny will mainly be caring for the newborn.

The schedule for this position is 7:15am to 6pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, and 11am to 4pm on Thursdays. The family has a weekly house cleaner. The nanny’s responsibilities include all child-related tasks (diapers, dressing, activities, feeding/bottles), children’s laundry, school pick-ups and drop offs, tidying play areas and any messes from the day, as well as dishes/emptying the dishwasher.

Ideal candidates should be fun loving but be comfortable setting and being consistent with limits, able to multitask, comfortable walking and driving around the city, patient, and dependable.

No driving required. Family’s home is T accessible. Parking is available if nanny chooses to drive to the family’s home.

South Boston - Full Time Nanny/Household Manager - March Start (flexible)

A South Boston mom is seeking a full time live out nanny/household manager to care for her 2.5 year old son who is incredibly bright, verbal, inquisitive, and active. The ideal start time is in March, but is flexible.

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 7am to 3:30pm. The family has weekly housecleaners. The nanny’s childcare responsibilities include getting the 2.5 year old ready for his day, transporting him to and from school, visiting local museums, and arranging/facilitating playdates. For the household management portion of the role, responsibilities include a weekly Whole Foods trip, family errands, children’s laundry/meal prep, loading/unloading the dishwasher, planning outings/activities for the afternoon, and keeping things tidy around the home.

Traits that mom is seeking in a nanny include a passion for the childcare profession, thoughtful about child development, education focused, intelligent, engaging, reliable, energetic, fun-loving, and a positive disposition. Candidates should be seeking a long-term commitment and want to become a part of the family. Strong activity planning skills are very important. Prior toddler experience is required!

Boston - Full Time Nanny - March Start (flexible through April)

A dual career family in the Back Bay area of Boston is seeking a full time nanny to care for their 6 year old and expected newborn beginning in March (flexible through April).

This position is a guarantee of 40 hours, but most weeks will be 50+. Hours will be almost always be scheduled between 7am and 6:30pm, typically ending by 5:30pm on Monday and Tuesday and starting later on Friday. Responsibilities for this position include all aspects of care for the newborn, planning activities and taking him on outings in the city, children’s laundry, meeting the older child at the bus stop at the end of the school day, prepping a snack for him, light meal prep, tidying up after play, and helping to keep things organized.

The family is seeking a nanny who is experienced with infants and ideally seeking a 2 year commitment. Candidates should be reliable and have flexibility with scheduling when needed.

This position has no driving responsibilities, so a driver’s license is not required. There is no parking at the family’s home.

Boston - Full Time Nanny - Early/Mid June Start OR 9/11 Start!

A dual career family in Boston is seeking a full time nanny to care for their newborn beginning September 11th. There is optional transition time from June through mid-August for 35-40 hours per week if the nanny was interested. The family has two pet ragdoll cats that are very sweet.

The schedule for this position for the September start date is Monday through Thursday from 7am to 6pm, Friday from 10am to 4pm, and 2 weekend shifts per month. The family would swap Friday hours for weekend hours with advanced notice. If the nanny were interested in transition time beginning in June, the schedule would be Monday through Wednesday from 7am to 6pm with some additional hours on another day (a commitment of 35-40 hours per week). 3 weeks will be unpaid while the family travels beginning August 19th.

Responsibilities for this position include all aspects of infant care, plannings outings and activities, baby laundry, bottle washing, tidying up after play/meals, feeding the cats as needed, and eventually preparing food for the baby.

The family is seeking candidates who are experienced with young infants, fun, comfortable with cats, and able to travel 1-2 weeks per year with the family (ideally international). The nanny should also be able to align their 3+ weeks of vacation time with the family’s chosen travel. Ability to speak Italian and/or Spanish is a plus!

A valid driver’s license is required for this position. A car is not required, but there is an indoor parking garage if the nanny would like to drive. A family car is available for nanny use during shift.

South Shore

Duxbury - Live In or Live Out Nanny - Summer Start

A smart, active family in Duxbury is seeking a full time nanny, either live in or live out, to care primarily for their 1 year old beginning in the summer. The family also has 3 other children (4, 6, and 8 years old) as well as an adorable pet Wheaten Terrier.

The schedule for this position is 8am to 4pm Monday through Friday. There is an occasional need to stay until 5pm, in which case the day’s schedule would shift to 9am to 5pm. On rare occasion, the family may request a later (7/8am) start. Live in accommodations include the nanny’s own bedroom/bathroom on a separate side of the house as well as a designated TV room/den on the same side of the house solely for the nanny. Responsibilities for this position are primarily to care for the infant, but also include getting the older children off the bus on some days, pitch in with family laundry, help keep the house tidy and running, children’s meal prep, and occasional transport to appointments/activities. The dog should be let out into the yard as needed.

All candidates MUST be willing to get the flu shot and any other pediatrician recommended vaccines due to the 1 year old’s immune compromised state!

Belmont - Part Time Household Manager - ASAP Start

A dual career family in Belmont is seeking a part time household manager to begin ASAP! The family has two children, ages 15 and 13. The family has a pet Bernadoodle who attends doggy daycare 2-3 times per week.

The schedule for this position is Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 2pm to 6:30pm and Wednesday from 1pm to 6:30pm. Hours are able to be added on Friday unless the nanny wants a Monday through Thursday schedule only. The family has a cleaning service every Monday. The family has a weekly house cleaner. The schedule for this position is 10:30am to 6:30pm Monday through Friday. Ideally, nanny will have flexibility to shift to an earlier start/later end time once per month if needed. The family has a weekly housecleaner. The ideal schedule for this position is a 35 hour base schedule with the hours being 7am-9am and 3pm-7pm Monday through Thursday and 7am-9am and 1pm-7pm on Fridays. Schedule is 9am to 6pm on no school days. If preferred, Friday morning hours can be removed. Cambridge - Full Time Live Out Nanny- April Start

A Cambridge family is seeking a full time nanny to care for their 3 year old and newborn beginning in April. The 3 year old is verbal, playful, and loves dinosaurs and puzzles!

The ideal schedule for this position is 11am to 7:30pm Monday through Thursday and 12pm to 6pm on Friday. The family is open to shifting 1 or 2 of the days to be 8am-4/5pm if the nanny has an evening commitment. The family has a house cleaner twice weekly. The nanny will care for the newborn alone for the first half of the day while mom is out of the home, then help with post-school routine for the 3 year old including snack time, trips to the playground, dinner, and baths. There are no formal housekeeping responsibilities, but picking up after the kids, willingness to pitch in with unloading the dishwasher, and taking the garbage out when full are very appreciated.

Ideal candidates are experienced with and knowledgeable about both babies and toddlers, diligent, punctual, and trained in CPR.

The family’s home is T-accessible, so a driver’s license and car are NOT required. However, there is parking available at the family’s home if the nanny would like to drive.
