Winchester – Part Time Household Manager (24-26 hours/week) – September Start

A busy family in Winchester is looking for a part time household manager to begin in early September! There are 5 people in the home (2 adults, 3 children), plus an adorable dog. All 3 children are in full day programs and mom is the primary caregiver.

The ideal schedule for this position is M-Th 10am-4:30pm (26 guaranteed hours), though there is flexibility to consider 24 or 25 hours in 3 days with slightly longer shifts if preferred. Coverage until 4pm is firmly needed, but there is flexibility for the remaining time. The priority for this role is to reduce the mental load for the parents while creating a positive, efficient home environment. Key responsibilities include household laundry, tidying up after the morning rush, kitchen clean up, pantry/closet organization, and inventory management (maintaining a list of necessary grocery and household items). The family dog requires 2-3 short walks each shift. Additional duties include coordinating with vendors when needed, grocery shopping, purchase returns, and other light family errands. Ideal matches will also enjoy menu planning and assist mom in coming up with simple yet creative family meals. Basic meal preparation (such as cleaning/chopping produce) to set mom up for success when cooking is appreciated. While this is a household-focused role, there may be requests for occasional school pick ups for the older children or supervising the youngest while mom does pick up.
