A kind family in Berlin, MA is searching for a part time nanny to begin in August, though there is flexibility with the start date! Care will be for their active, happy 4 year old.

This position’s schedule is M 8am-1pm and W/F 8am-4pm for a guarantee of 21 hours/week. Duties of the role include planning developmentally appropriate activities and outings, supervising playdates, spending as much time outdoors as the weather allows, children’s laundry, preparing healthy meals and snacks, supporting potty training, maintaining organized play areas and the child’s bedroom, child laundry when time permits, and general tidying throughout the day (cleaning up after activities and meals, etc.).

This is a child-centric role for which the family hopes to find someone who is patient, engaging, and able to plan enriching, fun days. Those who are intuitive and understand the unique perspective of a neurodiverse child are especially encouraged to apply! Both parents are frequently present in the home. Candidates should also be comfortable with spending time at the nearby pool and open to receiving future COVID boosters as applicable.
