Arlington – Part Time Nanny (up to 20 hours/week) – December/January Start

Partly work from home parents in Arlington are searching for a part time nanny to begin in December or January! They have 2 children, ages 5.5 and 4.5 years old who both attend school during the daytime hours.

This position’s core hours are 3:15pm-7:30pm, 3 or 4 days per week (Tu-F). An earlier start time on any/all days is an option for additional household support. The family is willing to guarantee up to 20 guaranteed hours/week. A later end time every other Friday is optional for a parent date night. 6-8 hour shifts on a weekend twice per month are also optional. Responsibilities include school pick ups in Belmont, transportation to/from local activities, and managing the after school, dinner, and bedtime routines. Household duties include children’s laundry, cleaning out lunch boxes, children’s meal preparation, helping to teach the children to take care of their belongings, and feeding the family dogs (medium sized doodle mix daily and medium sized mixed breed some days). For extra hours before school pick up, tasks can include menu planning, basic food preparation (chopping produce, etc.) or simple family meals, child-related organization projects such as seasonal clothing swaps, and a daily dog walk.

All candidates must have a safe driving record and reliable vehicle to use for work purposes. Those who love outdoor adventures, pretend play, art, sports, and staying active will thrive in this household. Parents work from home some of the time in separate, closed offices.
