Brookline – Part Time Afternoon Nanny/Household Assistant (20 hours/week) – August 31st Start

A dual physician family in Brookline is seeking a reliable part time nanny/household assistant to begin on August 31st. They have 2 children, ages 10 and 2. The older child attends school and the younger child is in a full time program. Parents manage pick up/drop off for the younger child.

The schedule for this position is M-Th 1:30/2pm-5:30/6pm, F 1pm-5pm for a guarantee of 20 hours/week. Responsibilities include school pick up and managing the afternoon routine for the older child with a focus on developmentally appropriate activities, crafts, classes, outings, and spending time outdoors. Other duties include supervising homework, ensuring the children are prepared for the next day, tidying the kitchen and living room from the morning rush, children’s laundry, running occasional errands, and maintaining general organization throughout the shift.
