Cambridge (Fresh Pond) – Full Time Nanny/Household Assistant (40+ hours/week) – Early August Start

Lovely parents in Cambridge’s Fresh Pond neighborhood are searching for a full time nanny/household assistant to begin in August. You’ll work with their 3 children, ages 8, 6, and 3.5.

The schedule for this position is M/W/F 10:30am-6:30pm, Tu/Th 11am-7pm for a guarantee of 40 hours/week. Shifting to an 8:30/9am start on no school days (known well in advance) is needed. This is a mixed role that includes both childcare and household support. During hours children are in the home, focus is on providing school pick up, engaging them in developmentally appropriate activities, spending as much time outdoors as possible, and dividing and conquering the afternoon routine with mom. Key household tasks include thoughtful meal planning and preparation, ordering groceries and receiving deliveries, packing lunches each day, household laundry, maintaining a list of necessary household items, and keeping the pantry and refrigerator organized. Walking the family’s small dog upon arrival each day is also required.

Both parents work from home in a closed office on a separate floor.
