[FILLED] Winchester – Part Time Household Assistant (30 hours/week) – ASAP Start

A wonderful Winchester family is excitedly looking to welcome a part time household assistant to their family beginning ASAP! The start date is flexible for the right match, as long as the candidate is able to start before September. They have 2 children, ages 11 and 9, who attend full day school that is close to the family home.

The schedule for this position is flexible and multiple configurations are possible. Coverage in the mornings and/or afternoons is most important, so ideal configurations would include split shifts totaling a guarantee of 30 hours/week. Typical shifts are 7:30am-10:30am and 2pm-6pm. Please inquire if you are interested in this position and have a specific schedule in mind. Two possible sample schedules include:

M-Th 7:30am-10:30am and 2pm-6pm, plus F 7:30am-9:30am

M 7:30am-10am and 2pm-6pm, Tu 7:30am-6pm, W 7:30am-9:30am and 2pm-7pm, Th 2pm-6pm, and F 7:30am-10:30am

The most crucial piece of this position is keeping the household running smoothly with little guidance or assistance after initial training. Duties include getting the children ready and to school each morning, picking them up in the afternoon, going through the afternoon/evening routine, transportation to/from activities, and homework support. Other responsibilities include family meal support, household laundry, packing lunches for the following day, keeping track of household item stock, errands, organizational tasks, and consistent tidying throughout the day.
