Belmont – Part Time Nanny (25 hours/week) – September Start

A sweet single dad in Belmont is searching for a part time nanny to support his family beginning in September! Care is for two boys, ages 6 and 3, who love baseball, soccer, and are currently taking swim lessons. The older child is in a full day program with early release on Wednesdays, and the younger child is in a toddler program 3 mornings per week.

The schedule for this position is 25 guaranteed hours, with shifts scheduled W-F, plus every other Monday, which is based on the shared custody agreement. Week 1 is W 8am-1pm and Th/F 7am-5pm. Week 2 is M 7am-11am, W 11am-5pm, Th 7am-5pm, and F 7am-12pm. Responsibilities include supporting the before and after school routines, planning developmentally appropriate activities and outings, transportation, and getting outdoors as often as possible. When both boys are in school or with a parent, responsibilities include household laundry, packing lunches, and thoughtful family meal preparation. Other tasks include loading/unloading the dishwasher, making sure children’s rooms and play spaces are tidy, organizing backpacks, and family errands as time allows.

Dad works from home most days but will be in and out throughout the day. Best matches are fun, patient, and enjoy being part of a busy, loving household. A proactive nature and the willingness to jump in wherever needed is key. Active, hands-on caregivers who love helping each day run smoothly will be a wonderful fit. Candidates who are open to one week of travel and an occasional overnight shift will be given top priority, though neither is required.
