Westford – Full Time Infant Nanny (40 hours/week) – ASAP Start

A sweet family in Westford is searching for an experienced, engaging nanny to join them for the long haul beginning ASAP. They’re focused on finding the right match to care for their 3 children, ages 8, 5, and 2 months. The older two children attend school programs until the mid afternoon, so care is mostly for the baby.

The schedule for this position is M-F 8am-4pm for a guarantee of 40 hours/week. The family is also open to scheduling configurations of 7am-3pm or 9am-5pm if candidates prefer. Responsibilities are mostly focused around the baby and include bottle preparation and sterilization with knowledge of infant milestones, paced feedings (experience with reflux is a plus!), and child development being instrumental in this role. In the afternoon, the nanny will meet the older children at the bus stop and spend the last hour or so of the day caring for all three children. Other duties include children’s laundry, simple children’s meal preparation, and light household tidying. Days should include fun, educational activities and outings in the neighborhood. Keeping the children safe, happy, and engaged takes precedence over all else!

Ideal candidates have strong intuition, coupled with warmth and prior experience caring for infants. Coming to work each day with brightness and enthusiasm, plus a willingness to take the reins and work independently after onboarding is key! Willingness to travel for 1-2 weeks per year is preferred, though not required. A love of dogs is a must as the family has a sweet, friendly dog who will need to be let out for potty breaks.
