South Boston – Full Time Infant Nanny (42-45 hours/week) – ASAP Start

A goodhearted family located in South Boston is hoping to welcome a thoughtful, safety-oriented nanny to begin when the right match is found. They have one child, an adorable 5 month old, who mom lovingly calls “the world’s greatest baby”!

The schedule for this position is M-Th 9am-6pm and F 9am-3/4pm for a guarantee of 42+ hours/week. There is slight flexibility to start at 8:30am M-Th if preferred and the family is open to guaranteeing up to 45 hours/week. The ability to stay late on occasion is greatly appreciated. This is a home-based position until trust is established, where duties include planning developmentally appropriate activities, encouraging milestones, bottle and child meal preparation as she grows, baby laundry, keeping the nursery and play spaces tidy, and creating a calm, nurturing environment for the baby to thrive in. Focus should be on enrichment and creating/maintaining a healthy, baby-led schedule.

Finding someone who is reliable, experienced, and is happy to share space during the day with a small, friendly dog is important to this family. Candidates must be hygiene conscious, fully vaccinated, including the COVID vaccine.
