Brookline – Contract Full Time Nanny (45 hours/week) – May 2026 through January 2027

A kind Brookline family is searching for a contract nanny to begin in late May, with this position’s anticipated end date being in January 2027. This is a two child household (5yo and 7 months), but primary care is for the baby as the older child attends a program during the day.

The schedule for this position is M-F 9am-6pm for a guarantee of 45 hours/week. The ability to flex up in hours when a parent is traveling on occasion is preferred. Duties include planning developmentally appropriate activities and outings, spending time outdoors and going on a daily walk, children’s laundry and meal preparation (may include making purees), occasionally caring for the older child on no school days, keeping the children’s bedrooms, closets, and play areas clean, and maintaining general tidiness throughout the day.

Prior professional experience caring for infants is required. The family’s best match is joyful, experienced, punctual, and reliable. Nannies who are proactive, engaging, and have a keen eye for detail are highly encouraged to apply. The baby has an NG tube, so the willingness to learn how to manage feedings and the ability to follow detailed instructions are key. Strong communication skills are a must, as is knowledge and focus on infant milestones. Candidates must be able to diligently follow proper protocol and be willing to receive annual flu vaccinations.
