Boston (Back Bay) – Full Time Nanny/Household Manager (40 hours/week) – August 27th Start

A warm and wonderful family located in beautiful Back Bay is searching for a reliable full time nanny/household manager to begin on August 27th. They have 2 children, ages 4.5 and 2, and the older child attends a year-round program, only requiring care about 25% of the time. The younger child will begin a morning program in September.

The schedule for this position is M-F 10am-6pm for a guarantee of 40 hours/week. Childcare responsibilities include providing thoughtful, attentive care for the family’s toddler, planning developmentally appropriate activities, going on engaging outings, and consistently supporting a healthy daily routine. Prioritizing fresh air and active play when the weather permits is key! Household duties include family meal planning and preparation (once the youngest begins her morning program in September), weekly grocery shopping, children’s laundry, loading/unloading the dishwasher, running the occasional errand, keeping play areas and children’s bedrooms clean, and general tidying throughout the day.

The family is excited to meet candidates who are easygoing, patient, and safety-conscious. Their home has four floors, so confidence navigating lots of stairs with a toddler in tow is necessary. Those who are proactive, intuitive, and naturally engaging are highly encouraged to apply! In this no-screens household, phones should be set aside during the day, and candidates should be passionate about fostering language development and supporting social-emotional growth. One parents works from home in a separate office.
