Belmont – Full Time Nanny/Household Manager (41.5 hours/week) – September/October Start

A lovely Belmont family is searching for a long-term, full time nanny/household manager to begin in September, with flexibility to October! They have 3 children, ages 11, 9, and 6.

The school year schedule is M 2:30pm-7pm, Tu-Th 7am-6pm, F 2pm-6pm for a guarantee of 41.5 hours/week. Summer weeks are more child-centric and have a schedule of 8:30am-5:30pm. The family has flexibility to consider other scheduling configurations. W/Th are the most important for the long days. Upon arrival, duties include getting the children off to school and finishing up the morning routine. Household duties include simple children’s meal preparation (family meal preparation if candidate is willing), children’s laundry and linens, grocery shopping, accepting deliveries, keeping household items well stocked, and home-based projects such as rotating closets seasonally. In the later afternoon, the role includes school pick up and facilitating the afternoon routine including transport to after school activities. Additional duties include homework supervision, helping the children to stay on task, packing lunches as needed, assisting with their evening routine, and general tidying.

The family owns a house in North Falmouth and would be excited if their nanny was willing to join them for the occasional shift there, though this is not required. The ability to set and hold consistent boundaries and provide safe transportation is a must, as is always operating with a team mentality. One parent works from home on Mondays and Fridays.
