Boston (Seaport) – Full Time Infant Nanny (45 hours/week) – ASAP Start (by August)

A busy Seaport family is searching for a full time nanny to begin as soon as possible, with flexibility through early August for the right match. Care is for their newborn, currently 2 months old, and the end of the shift on Friday involves a transition with the family’s weekend nanny to provide seamless care for 7 days/week.

The schedule for this position is M/F 7am-5:30pm, Tu-Th 9:30am-5:30pm for a guarantee of 45 hours/week. There is an opportunity for additional hours on occasion, based on family travel and commitments. Duties of this role include planning developmentally appropriate activities and outings, daily outdoor time, creating/managing a healthy eat/sleep/play schedule, bottle preparation and sterilization, food preparation when the time comes, baby laundry, keeping the nursery and play areas well stocked and organized, and general tidying. Travel is required in this role, with 6-8 weeks per year spent at domestic residences and also on the family yacht. Travel opportunities will be shared with the family’s second nanny to limit the length of trips for each caregiver.

Significant, recent professional infant experience is required. Both parents will be in and around the home, but this is an independent role. They are ecstatic to meet candidates who are seasoned, have a thorough understanding of developmental milestones, and are naturally engaging and loving.
