Newton – Full Time Nanny/Household Assistant (30-35 or 40 hours/week) – September Start

A lovely Newton family is searching for an experienced full time nanny/household assistant to begin in September. They have two wonderful children, ages 7.5 and 3.5, who both attend school during the day. The family also has one hypoallergenic dog, for which no care is required.

There are two scheduling options for this position. For 40 guaranteed hours, before and after school care is required, with hours scheduled between 7:30am-6pm based on candidate preference. Off time can be scheduled in the middle of the day if desired. For 30-35 guaranteed hours, a schedule of 10:45/11:45am-5:45pm is possible. Childcare duties include going through the morning and afternoon routines, transporting the children to/from school, attending appointments and activities, going on age appropriate, educational outings, and activity planning. Household responsibilities include daily, thoughtful healthy meal and snack preparation for both children, family dinner preparation twice per week, grocery/household shopping and/or accepting deliveries, keeping household items well stocked and organized, loading/unloading the dishwasher, tidying up the kitchen, errands, organizational projects, packing/unpacking from trips, taking the car in for maintenance, and general tidying.
