Lexington – Full Time Nanny/Household Manager (32 or 35 hours/week) – January 5th Start

A sweet family in Lexington is searching for a long-term nanny/household manager to begin in January! They have 2 children, ages 7 and 4, who both attend full day school.

The schedule for this position is M-Th 11am-6pm and F 11am-3pm for a guarantee of 32 hours/week. The family is open to a 35 hour guarantee for the right match. The ability to start earlier on no school or sick days is desired, as is the willingness to stay later (until approximately 10pm) once or twice per month is desired. Availability to provide more childcare during summer weeks is preferred. Upon arrival each day, duties are focused on household tasks, such as simple family meal support (chopping veggies, making pasta, rice, etc.), organizational projects, walking the dog, errands, restocking items, assisting with hosting guests, loading/unloading the dishwasher, turning over seasonal items in the closets, managing the recycling, and other such tasks. Afternoons transition to childcare, starting with school pick up, then transportation to/from activities, planning adventurous outings, and spending time outdoors as often as the Massachusetts weather will allow.

Travel is optional, with opportunities to spend the month of August in Maine, as well as join the family for 1 week of domestic and 1 week of international travel are available. Bilingual abilities in Portuguese or Spanish are a bonus. Candidates must be fully vaccinated, including the willingness to receive future COVID boosters.
