Hingham – Full Time Nanny/Household Assistant (40+ hours/week) – Early August Start

A busy family in Hingham is looking for a professional full time nanny/household assistant to join them beginning in early August! They have 12 and 4 year old children and this role is focused on their care as well as day-to-day household operation. They have a separate service for weekly cleaning.

The base schedule for this position is a split schedule on M/Tu/F,  plus Saturday and Sunday shifts of 6-10 hours each for 40 guaranteed hours/week. Exact schedule will be set with the candidate and days off will be discussed 1-2 weeks in advance. More hours are available on occasion and the occasional overnight is required. Responsibilities include managing the morning, dinner, bath time, and bedtime routines, cooking and cleaning up after meals, running the dishwasher, doing household laundry, family errands, occasional school pickups, and daily tidying of common areas and children’s spaces. Childcare duties are typical for the weekend shift while parents are out of the home. One parent will be present for a majority of the weekday evening hours, focusing on their 4 year old and 12 year old who is with the family half of the time.
