- Salary: $35-45+/hr + healthcare reimbursement + a generous PTO package that includes 3 weeks of paid vacation, plus paid sick days and paid holidays!
Additional Information:
A high profile family in Cambridge is searching for a full time nanny to begin ASAP! Care will be for two children, ages 6 and 4. This role can be either live out or live in, with live in accommodations being an apartment located 5 minutes away from the family home.
The base schedule for this position is M/Th 6:30am-9am and 3pm-5:30pm and Tu/W/F 6:30am-9am and 12pm-5:30pm for 32 hours/week, but the family is willing to guarantee up to 40 hours as flexibility is needed (including full days, later end times, and occasional weekends). Duties of this role include education focused activities, outings based around cultural enrichment, overseeing both structured and unstructured play, school drop off/pick up, tidying up after the morning rush, occasional light meal preparation, children’s laundry when needed, and laying out clothes/preparing backpacks for the following day. The family dog will require some occasional care (walks and feeding).
An education degree or teaching experience is required for this position as the family is hoping to hire someone with the skill set of a private educator or governess. Both parents will be in and out of the home throughout the day. Ideal candidates are experienced, highly educated, and focused on enrichment, safety, and fostering curiosity and creativity. Those with a Montessori-based philosophy who enjoy collaborative, busy family dynamics would be perfect matches. This is a fully staffed home, so the ability to happily work alongside others is a must. This role offers travel to Florida, Cape Cod, and beyond, and all candidates should be passport ready. Candidates must be fully vaccinated.
