Burlington – Part Time Nanny (20 hours/week) – Late October/Early November Start

A mostly work-from-home mom in Burlington is searching for a part time nanny to begin in October or early November. Care is for one adorable 3 month old baby.

The ideal schedule for this position is Tu/Th 9am-5pm and W 10am-2pm for a guarantee of 20 hours/week, though the shift on Wednesday is a bit flexible with start/end times as long as it is a 4 hour shift scheduled between 9am and 5pm. Days are firm based on parent commitments. This is a traditional nanny position focused on supporting growth and development. Mom works in education and hopes to find someone well-versed in early childhood development, particularly with the infancy stage. This role includes supporting parents in the creation and maintenance of healthy sleep/feeding schedules, planning home-based activities, daily outdoor time as the weather permits, and child-related housekeeping, such as baby laundry, sterilizing breast pump parts and bottles, food preparation when age appropriate, etc. There is a small, low-energy dog in the home who is Beagle-sized and may require a short walk or being let out for a potty break.

Prior infant experience is required, as is an up to date T-dap and flu vaccine. The family is excited to find someone who is on board for a long-term commitment. Their home has multiple floors, so the ability to navigate stairs with the baby in tow is a must. Dog lovers are also encouraged to apply!
