Boxford – Part Time Nanny (24 hours, 4 days/week) – September Start

An outdoorsy family in Boxford is searching for a part time nanny to begin in September. Though this is a 3 child household, mom will care for the baby (6 months) while the nanny cares for the older siblings (7yo, 5yo) and manages household related tasks.

The schedule for this position is Tu-F 12pm-6pm for a guarantee of 24 hours/week. Date nights and the occasional Monday shift for more hours are possible. The nanny’s responsibilities include pick up and drop off, planning activities and outings, daily outdoor/farm time, snack and dinner preparation, play date supervision, organizational projects (art closet, pantry, etc.), household laundry, making sure the children’s rooms and play spaces are neat, and getting everything back into its place before the end of each shift.

The family has a Block Island home and travel is strongly preferred for portions of the summer, up to 1 week at a time, with 4-6 non-consecutive total weeks per summer. The accommodations are beautiful and include a home above the garage with a queen bedroom, kitchenette, living room, private entrance, and parking spot.

A true passion for childcare is a must! Nannies who validate children’s feelings while gently maintaining boundaries for safety and love spending time outdoors each day are great matches for this family. Both parents will be in and around the home each day. Comfort with animals is a must as the family lives on a working farm which has donkeys, goats, and chickens, though no care is required for them.
