Boston (Back Bay) – Full Time Nanny/Family Manager (35+ hours/week) – February/Early March Start

Dual career, divorced parents in Boston are searching for a long-term nanny/family manager to support their two households beginning in February/early March. They have 2 older children, ages 15 and 12, and this is a hybrid role with a mix of responsibilities in an amicable shared custody arrangement, with a portion of the time spent in each home (located 1 mile apart).

The base schedule for this position is M-F 12:30pm-7:30pm (35 guaranteed hours/week). A 10am start is requested on certain no school days, but the start time on other days can be adjusted to not exceed 40 hours. Many summer weeks are lighter when the children are away at sleepaway camp, and occasional weeks flex up to 40/45 hours. In general, this position includes time at dad’s residence for a portion of the shift M/Tu, and mom’s residence the remainder of the time. She has 3 labradoodles who require a daily mid-shift walk, so candidates must love dogs. Both children attend Milton Academy, so transportation is a key function of this role. Other tasks while the kids are at school include weekly grocery shopping for dad, errands and laundry for both households, general organization, daily children’s meal preparation, and basic family dinner preparation at dad’s.
