Newton – Full Time Nanny (50 hours/week) – February Start

A sweet family who will be locating to Newton from DC at the beginning of the year is searching for a long-term, full time nanny to begin in February! They have 2 children, ages 3.5 and 1.5, and the oldest child will attend a morning program.

The schedule for this position is M-F 8am-6pm for a guarantee of 50 hours/week. Overnights are required approximately 2 times per month. This role is focused on the children, with duties including drop off and pick up for the older child each morning, planning enriching, developmentally appropriate activities, keeping everyone safe, loved, and happy, spending time outdoors as the weather permits, children’s meals and related clean up, children’s laundry, and general tidying.

The family is excited to meet candidates who have boundless energy and experience caring for siblings in a multi-child household. They are looking to hire someone who is great with adhering to schedules and providing a consistent, routine-based day for their children. Reliability is important, and priority will be given to those who are open to providing sick care when needed. An exceptional driving record is a must! The family would be happy to have their nanny join them for travel, though this is not a requirement.
