Waban – Full Time Nanny/Family Assistant – January 5th Start

A single mom in Waban is seeking a nanny/family assistant to begin in January! Care is for two children, ages 13 and 7.5, who attend full time school and have an early release on Fridays. This is a unique role, one that would be great for someone with an additional revenue stream to fill the non-working weeks! Compensation is based on a guarantee of 40 hours/week for 3o weeks/year, with approximately half of those weeks including 4 overnights. 4 additional weeks of paid time off to correspond with non-working weeks, including 2 weeks in late June/early July, is offered to reach the posted annual salary range. A private bedroom with en suite bathroom is provided for overnights.

The schedule for this position is known 6 months in advance. It is always 2-3 consecutive weeks of care per month, with 1-2 of those weeks each month including overnights as the sole adult in the home from M-Th. Key responsibilities include before and after school care, transportation, and essentially stepping into the parental role while mom travels for work, with duties spanning things like overseeing homework, household laundry, meal preparation, light cleaning (weekly vacuuming, wiping down surfaces in the kitchen and boys’ bathroom), and organization.
