Brookline – Full Time Nanny/Household Manager (40-50 hours/week) – Mid-October to Early November Start

A dual career family in Brookline is searching for an attentive full time nanny/household manager to begin any time between mid-October and early November. They have 2 children, ages 5.5 and 2, who both attend full day programs.

This position guarantees 40 hours/week with the requirement to flex up to 50 hours/week when needed. This includes a 7am-5pm shift when the children are home from school. A daily split schedule OR 2 days of 7am-6pm and 3 days of 12pm-6pm are preferred for the base schedule. Core childcare hours are 2pm-6pm. The ability to flex up to 50 hours/week when the family needs is required. This is a hybrid role with the mindset of being an integral part of the household functioning by taking as much off of parents’ plates as possible. The goal is for them to enjoy their non-working hours with their children, and this can only be done with the support of a capable, long-term family assistant. They have a separate housekeeper for deep cleaning. A typical day in this role includes cleaning up after the morning rush, daily tidying and organization, household laundry, family errands, children’s vegetarian snack/meal preparation, plus a simple vegan family dinner, and potential care for the family cat. School pick ups and transportation to/from activities, in addition to home-based play, and facilitating the dinner routine round out the day.
