Wellesley – Full Time Nanny/Household Manager (38.5, 43, or 47.5 hours/week) – February Start

A lovely Wellesley family is searching for a reliable nanny/household manager to begin in February! They have one child, a 6 year old girl who is adventurous, smart, and loves having a consistent schedule.

The base schedule for this position is M/W/F 7:30am-5pm, Tu/Th 7:30am-9:30am and 2pm-5pm for a guarantee of 38.5 hours/week. For a larger schedule, working straight through on Tuesday and/or Thursday is possible for a guarantee of 43 or 47.5 hours, respectively. Childcare duties include an emphasis on activity planning, daily outings, outdoor adventures, and supporting all areas of educational growth and development. Household duties include simple child meal and snack preparation, packing lunches, household laundry, making sure all household items are well stocked, grocery shopping/receiving deliveries, organizational projects, errands, and general tidying.

Prior experience with school-aged children is required, as is a proven track record of reliability and being well-versed in the Montessori philosophy. Best matches for this family are proactive, organized, engaging, and good natured. High priority will be given to candidates who have a degree in education or a similar field. One parent spends some time working from home in a closed office. Candidates must be fully vaccinated, including the COVID vaccine and boosters.
