Wellesley – Full Time Nanny (45 hours/week) – September/October Start

A super sweet family in Wellesley is seeking an active, motivated full time nanny to begin in September or October. Though this is a three-child household (5.5yo, 4yo, and a 2 month old), care is primarily for the baby as the older children are in school until 2:30/3pm each day.

The schedule for this position is M-F 8am-5pm for a guarantee of 45 hours/week. Responsibilities include all aspects of thoughtful infant care, such as planning developmentally appropriate activities that support milestones and maintaining a healthy eat/play/sleep routine. Additional duties include bottle preparation and sterilization, children’s meal preparation, keeping the nursery and play areas organized and stocked, children’s laundry, and general tidying. The nanny will also be responsible for picking up the older children from school and going through the afternoon routine with them. The family’s dog, a Goldendoodle, will need to be let outside on occasion.

The family is eager to meet candidates who are patient, engaging, have the energy and confidence to successfully manage three children at once, and who are comfortable utilizing a divide-and-conquer approach when needed. Someone who is willing to jump in wherever necessary to help this busy household run smoothly would be an excellent fit. One parent works from home in a separate space and mom is on parental leave until December. Candidates must have received a prior COVID vaccine.
