Wellesley – Full Time Nanny (45 hours/week) – Early April Start

A welcoming yet discreet Wellesley family is searching for a full time nanny to begin in early April! They have 2 children, ages 3.5 and 1.5, who are a joy to care for.

The schedule for this position is M-Th 8am-6pm and F 8am-1pm for a guarantee of 45 hours/week. Some flexibility is requested for occasional longer shifts based on dad’s travel (requests will be made in advance). Responsibilities include all aspects of childcare, with a portion of the day focused on caring for both children and other times with a more divide and conquer approach with mom so each child receives 1-on-1 attention. Facilitating playdates, planning outings, transporting the older child to/from preschool, and getting outdoors as often as possible are key in creating an environment that supports growth and development. Additional duties include healthy children’s snack and meal preparation, children’s laundry, keeping play spaces tidy, and occasional light errands.

The ideal candidate has a high degree of emotional intelligence and professionalism, with prior experience navigating household dynamics that include a stay at home parent. A minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience including a prior role with multiple children in this age range is required. Those who have a calm presence, excel in redirection, and have a strong understanding of child nutrition/healthy habits will be given top priority. Musical and/or artistic abilities are a bonus! Availability to travel up to 15 days per year and the ability to swim are also required. Candidates must be fully vaccinated (current T-dap and flu vaccines are required).
