Wayland – Part Time Nanny/Household Assistant (20 hours/week) – ASAP Start

A single father of three in Wayland is searching for a part time nanny/household assistant to begin as soon as the right match is found! Care will be for three children – a curious, athletic 11 year old, a friendly, fun 9 year old, and an artistic, smart 7 year old.

The schedule for this position is M-F 2pm-6pm for a guarantee of 20 hours/week. The ability to provide overnight care on dad’s travel weeks approximately 2-3x/year would be very appreciated. This role will include spending time with the children when they return from school (typically 3 days/week) and providing a consistent, structured schedule for them that includes the afterschool routine, homework supervision, helping them to complete their chores, emptying backpacks, and children’s laundry. Two days per week will be focused on household support, including simple family meal preparation, packing lunches for the next day, chopping vegetables and fruit for snack packs, grocery shopping, keeping household items well stocked, errands, keeping children’s rooms well maintained and tidy, and household organizational tasks when time permits. The family recently got a puppy, so candidates must be open to taking the puppy out for potty breaks and walks as needed.
