Newton – Part Time Toddler Nanny (30 hours/week) – March Start

A super sweet family in Newton is searching for a loving, attentive nanny to begin as soon as the right match is found! They have a 1.5 year old son who loves to be outside and visit the local library for story time.

The schedule for this position is M/F 10am-2pm, Tu/Th 8:30am-4:30pm, W 10am-4pm for a guarantee of 30 hours/week. The ability to provide an occasional date night is preferred. This is a completely child-centric role and duties include all aspects of care, planning developmentally appropriate activities, curriculum-based enrichment, going on strolls, attending classes, having fun on outings (once trust is established), child meal preparation, child laundry, keeping the nursery clean, well-stocked, and organized, the occasional errand or grocery pick up, and general tidying.

The family is excited to interview candidates who are extremely kind, patient, and warm with a fun demeanor! Good communication skills are a must. They are hoping to find someone who would love to grow along with their family over time and who will enjoy their friendly, mini-Dachshund’s company during the day. One parent works from home full time in a closed office space.
