A busy family of 6 located in beautiful Newton is searching for a nanny/household assistant to begin ASAP, with flexibility for the right match. They have 4 children, ages 15, 11, 9, and 6, who all attend full day school.

This position’s core hours are 2pm-6pm (at least 4 days per week), but the family is open to a schedule of up to 12pm-8pm for a guarantee of up to 40 hours/week. When inquiring, please note what schedule you would prefer. Exact duties will be created based on the candidate’s skill set and interests, with a few primary characteristics needed of all applicants, detailed below. Optional tasks include meal preparation, homework support, and child-related errands, such as purchasing school/activity supplies, prepping for parties and birthdays, etc. The family’s large, friendly dog will also need to be let in and out of the house and given fresh water as needed.

Applicants must have a high degree of emotional intelligence, a proactive nature, and excellent judgement to thrive in this bustling, social household. The family offers a large SUV for candidates to use for work purposes, so comfort in driving a large vehicle is required. Optional travel opportunities to the family’s home on Cape Cod are available.
