Marblehead – Part Time Household Assistant (30 hours/week) – ASAP Start

A lovely Marblehead family is searching for a tidy, proactive household assistant to begin when the right match is found! Care will be for the family’s almost 4 year old and 2.5 year old children, plus twins are expected in early 2024.

The ideal schedule for this position is M-F 8am-2pm for a guarantee of 30 hours/week, though 7am-1pm or 9am-3pm shifts are also possible based on candidate preference. This role includes some childcare in addition to household responsibilities. Specific duties include household organization, organizing children’s bedrooms and closets, setting up the nursery for the twins, constant tidying, household laundry, loading/unloading the dishwasher, cleaning out the fridge, putting away grocery deliveries and Amazon packages, and children’s snack and meal prep when needed (typically warming things up). Some support with family meal preparation would be ideal but isn’t required. Childcare responsibilities include engaging with the children each day and building meaningful relationships with them, staying with the twins at times when mom needs to pick up or drop off the older children or run the occasional errand.

A high energy level is a must for this role as this is a bustling household! Candidates who are known for their solid track record with reliability, proactive nature, and high attention to detail are encouraged to apply.
