Lexington – Full Time Nanny/Household Assistant (31.5 or 40 hours/week) – August 24th Start

A busy family in Lexington is searching for a full time nanny/household assistant to begin on August 24th. They have 2 children, ages 5 and 3.5 years old. Both children attend programs, but primary care will be for the younger child as the older child’s program is 3 days/week.

The base schedule for this position is Tu-Th 7:30am-6pm, F 8am-4:30pm for a guarantee of 40 hours/week. Friday hours are optional if a 31.5 hour guarantee is preferred. Duties for this role include school drop off and pick up, planning and engaging the children in developmentally appropriate activities and outings, spending time outdoors as often as possible, preparing healthy meals for the children, and packing their lunches for the following day. Household support responsibilities include grocery shopping, running occasional errands (while both children are in school), keeping the pantry well stocked, assisting with household laundry, maintaining the children’s bedrooms and play spaces, child-related organizational projects, loading/unloading the dishwasher, walking the family dog while the children are at school, and helping to keep the home tidy throughout the day.
