Cambridge – Live In or Live Out Nanny (40 hours/week) – January Start

Work from home parents in Cambridge are seeking a live in or live out nanny to join them beginning between January and May, when the right match is found. Care will be for three children, ages 4, 2.5, and a newborn expected in February 2024. Live in accommodations are a separate downstairs studio with separate entrance, a shower, laundry, and kitchenette that includes a toaster oven, induction stovetop, microwave, and fridge.

The schedule for this position is flexible and can be decided based on candidate preference, with an example schedule being M-F 9am-5pm. The family will guarantee 40 hours/week. Core responsibilities include age appropriate activity planning, allowing for structured and unstructured playtime, keeping the children safe, happy, and engaged all day long, spending time outdoors, keeping the nursery and children’s spaces well stocked and organized, simple children’s meal preparation (the family is vegetarian and maintains a kosher home), bottle preparation and sterilization, assisting with the older children’s lunches, snacks, and backpacks, school drop off and pick up, and general tidying.

Nannies who are naturally emotionally intelligent, patient, understanding, and attentive are great matches for this role! Prior experience in education is a bonus, but not required. Guiding and teaching children new things without the usage of screens or electronics is key. Candidates must be fully vaccinated, including the COVID vaccine.
