Cambridge – Full Time Nanny/Household Manager (35 hours/week) – Flexible Start

A wonderful family located near MIT’s campus in Cambridge is searching for an organized, safety-conscious nanny/household manager to begin when the right match is found! You’ll have the opportunity to work with two awesome children – a silly, energetic 7 year old and a confident, playful 5 year old, who love to learn and thrive in a structured environment.

The schedule for this position is M-F 11:30am-6:30pm for a guarantee of 35 hours/week. An 8am or 9am start is needed on no school days and the schedule is provided in advance. Being open to cover an overnight shift on rare occasions would be appreciated, but is not required. Duties include school pick up, handling the afternoon routine each day (carpooling, playdates, transportation to/from activities), and having educational activities planned when the children are home. Before they get home every day, household responsibilities include simple children’s dinners, household laundry support, loading/unloading the dishwasher, grocery shopping, keeping household items well stocked, bringing the car to maintenance appointments, errands, household organizational tasks, and making sure everything is tidy before leaving for the day. Taking the family’s two dogs for a walk on occasion would also be appreciated!

Nannies who excel with meeting the children where they’re at developmentally, interact in a calm and engaging way, and use positive reinforcement are fantastic matches for this role. Both parents are communicative and excited to meet their true partner in care for their children. Candidates must be fully vaccinated, including the COVID vaccine.
