Cambridge – Full Time Nanny (40 or 45 hours/week) – ASAP Start

A lovely family located in beautiful Cambridge is searching for an experienced full time nanny to care mainly for their happy, animal-loving 1.5 year old beginning ASAP! If a later start date is preferred, the family is open to candidates beginning in July. The family also has a 6 year old son who attends full day school and will seldom require care.

The preferred schedule for this position is Su-Th 8:30am-5:30pm for a guarantee of 45 hours/week. If interested in a 40 hour guarantee, a M-F schedule is possible – please inquire if interested! Days are mostly focused around the younger child and should include building a fun learning environment chock full of games, stories, dancing, reading, and projects, encouraging child-led learning while helping him to explore natural consequences, and working together on developing social-emotional growth. If time allows, the family would appreciate household support such as household laundry, children’s meal and snack preparation, loading/unloading the dishwasher, tidying the kitchen and living/play spaces, and simple family meal support.

A background or familiarity with the Montessori method would be a great fit for this household! Nannies who are inventive, crafty, and nurturing who are naturally open and effective communicators are who the family is most excited to meet! One parent works from home part time in a closed office. Spanish speakers are highly encouraged to apply.
