Brookline – Part Time Nanny (30 or 35 hours/week) – ASAP Start

A busy family located in beautiful Brookline with three wonderful children is looking for a tech-savvy, proactive part time nanny to begin ASAP! This role is focused on supporting the family’s 13 and 10 year old children when they are home from school in the afternoon.

The schedule for this position is M-Th 1pm/2pm-7pm and F 11am-7pm for a guarantee of 30 or 35 hours/week, depending on candidate preference. The ability to work later nights once or twice per week during basketball season and to provide overnight support on occasion is strongly desired. The nanny will be responsible for school pick up, facilitating the afternoon routine, planning and preparing the children’s lunches and snacks for each day, providing homework support, and assisting with any other pieces of the post-school day. General household duties may include occasional child-related errands, simple children’s meal preparation, occasional children’s laundry, and generally keeping the girls happy, healthy, organized, and on task.

This position includes an incredible travel opportunity for up to 4 weeks per year. Two weeks are typically during school vacation and two are during the summer months (non-consecutive). Travel is not required, but would be a bonus!

One parent works from home on occasion in a separate office space and the other will be in and out of the home. Nannies who enjoy being part of a team and work happily alongside other household staff are fantastic fits for this household dynamic! The family hopes to meet someone with a warm, mature demeanor who has prior experience with school-aged children. Candidates must be fully vaccinated, including the COVID vaccine and booster (when applicable).
