An incredible Brookline family is excited to welcome an organized household manager/nanny to their family beginning in September or October! They have 3 children, ages 16, 14, and 13. The ideal schedule for this position is M/W/F 1pm-7pm and Tu/Th 1pm-8pm for a guarantee of 32 hours/week. The family is open to schedules of 30-35 hours with flexible start times. End times must be 7pm or 8pm, with an 8pm end time required at least twice per week. This is a traditional household manager/nanny role, with afternoons including school pick up on occasion, making sure sports equipment is organized, and transportation to activities. Household duties include weekly family meal planning, preparation, and potential clean up, grocery shopping and errands, household laundry, keeping track of household item stock, and general tidying. There may be the occasional special task, such as getting the car inspected or meeting a contractor at the house for a repair. The family would very much appreciate if candidates were open to organizational tasks, sweeping and/or vacuuming, and taking care of trash/recycling as time permits. The family’s sweet, friendly dog should also be let out or taken on a short walk upon arrival each morning, but otherwise, no pet care is expected.
