Brookline – Part Time Housekeeper (30 hours/week) – ASAP Start

A busy family located in gorgeous Brookline is looking for a reliable, proactive part time housekeeper to begin ASAP. This is a five person household (2 adults, 3 children) with a sweet, friendly dog. The home is 9600 square feet with 6 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms, plus a cabana.

The schedule for this position is a guarantee of 30 hours/week with shifts of 6 hours that can be scheduled between 7am and 5pm, with exact start/end times based on candidate preference. Willingness to work at least one weekend shift per month is strongly desired, but not required.

This role is collaborative with the already established full time housekeeper and duties will be split between the two. Typical duties include all facets of household support, deep cleaning and maintaining all living spaces, making beds and changing linens at least once per week, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping and polishing hardwood floors, and household laundry support (including ironing). The housekeeper may also be responsible for cleaning and care of dishes and kitchen supplies, cleaning and restocking refrigerators, loading/unloading dishwashers, managing delivered packages (unboxing, breaking down boxes, etc.), ensuring consistent organization within all living spaces with particular attention to the kitchen, pantry, and closets, cleaning and tidying the home after entertaining/social gatherings, monitoring cleaning supplies and escalating needs to homeowner, and reporting any necessary repairs and replacements.
