Brookline – Full Time Nanny (40 hours/week) – ASAP Start

A busy family located in beautiful Brookline with three wonderful children is looking for a tech-savvy, proactive nanny to begin ASAP! The earlier portion of the day will include care for the youngest child, a giggly 1 month old, then includes supporting the family’s 13 and 10 year old children when they are home from school in the afternoon.

The schedule for this position is 11am-7pm for a guarantee of 40 hours/week. The ability to work later nights once or twice per week during basketball season and overnight support on occasion (roughly once per month) on a year round basis is desired. The nanny will care for the baby in the earlier part of the day, including, feedings, diaper changes, and maintaining the baby’s schedule. For the older children, duties include school pick up, getting through the afternoon routine, planning and preparing lunches and snacks for each day, organizing and facilitating activities, and homework support. General household responsibilities include grocery shopping, simple family meal preparation (strongly preferred), keeping items well stocked, some children’s laundry on occasion, child-related errands, and organizational projects.

This position includes an incredible travel opportunity for up to 4 weeks per year. Two weeks are typically during school vacation and 2 fall during the summer months (non-consecutive). Being passport ready is a must!

One parent works from home on occasion in a separate office space and the other will be in and out of the home. Nannies who enjoy being part of a team and work happily alongside other household staff are fantastic fits for this household dynamic! The family hopes to meet someone with a warm, mature demeanor who has prior experience with both school-aged children and infants. Candidates must be fully vaccinated, including the COVID vaccine and booster (when applicable).
