Boston (Downtown) – Full Time Nanny (45 or 47.5 hours/week) – ASAP Start

A bustling dual career family located in beautiful downtown Boston is searching for an experienced, warm nanny to begin ASAP! They have two children, a 2.5 year old who brims with joy and a smiley 8 month old. Care is mostly for the baby as the toddler attends a program 3 full and 2 half days per week and will transition to 5 full days in September.

The schedule for this position is M-F 7:30am-5pm for a guarantee of 47.5 hours/week. The family will consider a 4:30pm end time for a guarantee of 45 hours/week if less hours are desired. This role is child-centric and the nanny will be responsible for thoughtful, intuitive care of the baby, plus attentive part time care for the toddler on days when he is home. Specific responsibilities include planning developmentally appropriate activities, getting outdoors as often as possible, bottle preparation and sterilization, loading/unloading the dishwasher, children’s laundry, children’s snack and meal preparation, and keeping the nursery tidy and well-stocked.

Ideal candidates should be nurturing, engaging, and proactive with all that the day brings. Prior experience working with toddlers and infants is desired, coupled with a strong understanding of early childhood development. The ability to successfully manage a two child household is paramount and the family is looking to meet someone who will always take a joyful approach to childcare. Both parents work from home part of the time. Candidates must be fully vaccinated, including the COVID vaccine and booster.
