Newton – Part Time Nanny/Household Manager (25 hours/week) – Early December Start

A dual career family located in the Auburndale village of Newton is searching for a warm, reliable part time nanny/household manager to begin in early December! They have 2 children, ages 5 and 3, who both attend school/daycare during the morning/afternoon.

The schedule for this position is M/Th 2:45pm-7:45pm, Tu 7am-5pm, and W 3pm-8pm for a guarantee of 25 hours/week. Some occasional overnights are required, with a ton of advance notice given. Childcare duties include school/daycare pick up, transportation to/from activities, preparing their snacks/dinner, homework support, and going through the afternoon and evening routines. Household tasks include simple, healthy meal preparation, grocery shopping or putting away Instacart deliveries, keeping household items organized, occasional errands, household laundry, sweeping/vacuuming, and taking out the trash as needed. Letting in/supervising contractors may be needed on occasion.

Those who are direct communicators, comfortable giving and receiving feedback, and troubleshooting/collaborating with parents would be strong matches for this family.
